Privacy notice
This notice explains how Korra handles information collected through this website and its inquiry forms.
What we collect
We collect the details you enter in an inquiry: your name, email address, company, optional website, and the description you provide. A business assessment also includes your industry, team size, source systems, record categories, history, approximate count, permission status, and any exclusions. A buyer brief includes requested categories, industries, intended use, volume, timing, and other requirements. Sellers and buyers can also provide record languages and source countries or regions. Buyers can select a primary use for the records.
We record your agreement to be contacted, the request type, submission time, and request status. Our hosting and request systems may process IP addresses, browser information, and basic request logs to operate the site and limit abuse.
How we use it
We use these details to respond to you, assess the request, discuss possible next steps, and maintain a record of the inquiry. We also use limited technical information to investigate faults and prevent abuse. The contact checkbox authorizes a response about your request; it does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
Who can receive it
Authorized Korra operators can review inquiries. Service providers involved in hosting, database storage, or email delivery may process information needed for those services. Inquiry alerts may be sent to configured Korra operator addresses.
Submitting this form does not give an AI buyer access to your records. A proposed data sample, transfer, or licence needs a separate scope and agreement.
Cookies and third-party pages
We record how visitors use this website with our own tools. We record the pages you open, what you click, how long you stay and how far you scroll. On most public pages we also record the screen as you use it. Form fields are hidden in that recording. A message you send in the Ask Korra chat is saved with the chat, so it shows in the recording too. To tell one visit from the next, your browser keeps one first-party cookie, korra_vid, for up to 400 days.
The first time you visit, a banner asks for your choice. In the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we record nothing until you accept. Elsewhere we record until you reject. Reject stops the recording and the company lookup, and clears the cookie. Your browser keeps your choice.
We may look up the company linked to your IP address. We keep screen recordings for 30 days and IP addresses for 90 days. To ask what we hold about your visits, or to have it removed, email info@korra.io.
We also count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or local storage and does not follow you across other websites. If you open a Korra partner’s link, your browser keeps one first-party cookie holding only that partner’s code, for 70 days from a partner link or 3 days from a seller link, so the sign-up form can show who introduced you; the form displays the code, you can change or remove it, and the cookie is cleared when you sign up. The portal and the separate operator workspace use authentication cookies. Your browser may use ordinary cache and storage features when it loads this website.
If you open our call-booking page or another external link, that service handles information under its own privacy notice. This website does not embed a booking form in the inquiry flow.
Retention and requests
We retain inquiry records while they are needed for the discussion, related business records, and applicable legal obligations. We have not set a universal fixed retention period for all inquiries. Contact us to ask about your information, request a correction, or request deletion. Applicable legal or contractual requirements may affect the response.
If you want us to stop contacting you about an inquiry, tell us at info@korra.io. Include enough detail to identify the request, but do not send sensitive records.
Business datasets are separate
This website collects source descriptions, not business dataset uploads. The handling of any later sample or dataset must be defined separately, including purpose, access, storage, transfer, and retention. This notice does not replace that agreement.
Contact and changes
For privacy questions, email info@korra.io. We may update this notice when our website practices change. The date above shows the current version.
